Well, I played through the campaign. Short, but the finale is VERY hard.

Validated my game files and two needed to be redownloaded. Not sure if it'll fix my problem, but hopefully it will. Reloading after every shot is fine with a shotty, but damn annoying with every other gun. :)
"Headshot! - The only shot that counts is the one in the head."
"Bleed Out - Your health is a ticking away." ( Coming next week.
"Hard Eight - Double the specials, quadruple the fun!"
"Four Swordsmen - Four Swords against plenty of apocalypse!"
"Ultra Realism - The ultimate realistic challenge."
"Chainsaw Massacre - 4 chainsaws, millions of zombies."
"Iron Man - No respawns, no restarts, all tension."
"Last Gnome On Earth - Protect the gnome at all cost."
"Room For One - Only room for one survivor in this rescue vehicle."
"Healthpackalypse! - No health in this versus game."
"Realism Versus - You can't see each other but they can see you."
"Follow the Liter - Scavenge one can at a time."
"Gib Fest - Blast the infected to shreds with M60s."
"Versus Survival - Can you survive against your friends?"
"Mutation - a Mutation of Campaign mode."
"Mutation - a Mutation of Campaign mode."
"Mutation - a Mutation of Versus mode."
"Mutation - a Mutation of Scavenge mode."

Single player only mutation modes:

"Last Man on Earth - You will become legend to the infected as the last human left."

"The Last Samurai – Alone, armed with only a sword you venture forth."
Some of these will be hilarious. :) Last Gnome On Earth sounds the best to me, but Iron Man should be incredible as well.

Ohh, Mutation sounds awesome! =D

Mutation, Mutation, and Mutation also sound hilariously awesome! =P

Seriously...they should just make realism versus and versus survival regular modes. I swear I've been wanting those since I started l4d2 lol.

The problem is that there are a handful of modes on that list alone that could be legit permanent modes. If they keep adding them as permanent modes we'll soon have 15 modes and it'll be even harder to fill lobbies. I like this method since it keeps each mode fresh and allows them to bring back the really popular ones more frequently, but the less popular modes will also get sufficient playtime.

Meh, most of them sound like modes that can be used across multiple permanent modes to me. Then again I guess that doesn't matter, since seeing the way Mutation is implemented, they're more likely to each be an individual mode a week. Either way, more life (un-life?) put into l4d2. Let's see how long it'll last before everyone 24/7s BC2 again =P.

I give it 8 weeks.
(That goofy achievement they gave us a 150mb patch for requires a person to play 8 of the mutations, at once/week)

I can do that too DT.
